Jan. 1st, 2022 02:22 amPaul keeps his word to come by Loki's place on New Year's, before the god's personal celebrations begin and things begin to get too much. It's not that he isn't interested in the Wild Hunt, he is, but it's not something to get involved in yet and he trusts the warning he received to stay out.
So Sigurd comes to visit, faster than something of his size should seemingly be. He swoops down in front of them, and Loki will hear a familiar voice cry out in greeting from a grip around the Pokémon's neck.
The first thing Loki and the children will notice is that Sigurd is much bigger after achieving his final form as a Flygon, more than twice his size as a Vibrava and far heavier, though his form is still streamlined. His wings are broad and powerful, much stronger than they were when he ineffectually "attacked" Loki, kicking up snow as he comes in to perch on the ground. The second is that Paul is mounted on his back to direct him, lightly jumping down as soon as the dragon Pokémon lands and reassuring Sigurd with a gentle stroke on the neck and a whisper in the ear. Then he turns to Loki.
Sigurd seems to trust Loki and the children, since he met at least some of them before, so introductions aren't necessary. He knows they aren't a threat. Instead, the insect-like dragon shuffles over to let them have a closer look. He's recently evolved and very proud of that fact.

"Happy New Year to you and your family, from both of us." Paul smiles a little and bows, to be polite. "May I come in? I think you know why we're here. I could smell the cookies from Sigurd's back."

Paul nods, maybe a little chastened. If he has a reputation, it's clearly been earned. "He says he'll make sure nothing breaks."
Help unleash a giant goat in the Plaza one time.
"He likes you. Go ahead." He gives a small smile to Una, granting her permission to touch Sigurd. The Flygon is not opposed to being touched, even mounted by strangers with the proper etiquette, though he seems to appreciate that permission was asked. He crouches to give her better access to his back, exposing a spot between those broad diamond-shaped wings.
He'll go on in once Una's had her fun, leaving Paul to go in first. He's the one who's interested in cookies. Sigurd's usual food is found in the Wilds - he's more rugged than the more domesticated Pokémon found in the Plaza.
"So...what kinds of cookies did you make? I'll stay a while, but I'll leave well before the Hunt is called."
